The London Hash House Harriers (LH3) run weekly all over London. Using GPS data from Strava, I have created a map (below) showing the routes run so far this year.
Due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, we were only able to begin running again in April, and even these runs were socially distanced (no running the trail in a big group, no pub at the end). As restrictions are eased we hope to get back to the traditional hashing format soon.
Strava art (or GPS art) is running/cycling a route with the aim of creating a picture with the GPS recording of your activity.
Below is a collection of trails I have run to create some Strava art. The GPS route of my run was recorded on my Garmin running watch and then plotted on the map once complete.
Several Hash House Harrier groups run all over London each week. Each week the location of the trails varies as that week’s “hare” lays the trail in an area they know well. I have been collecting the GPS routes of the trails from Strava for each group and plotting them on a map using Python.
